Education and Career EXPO 2012" thirteenth international specialized exhibition
Thirteenth International Specialized exhibition "Education and Career EXPO 2012" was held in the exhibition complex "Logos EXPO" from 14th to 16th November 2012. The aim of the exhibition is the promotion of strengthening the links between education and business. The participants of the exhibition were educational institutions, international and local organizations carrying out educational programs and private employment agencies.
"Tanger" recruitment company also participated in the exhibition and in its framework implemented the action of free registration of all comers.
All participants of the exhibition "Education and Career EXPO 2012" were awarded certificates.

Circular labor migration: Armenia-Poland
On September 10, 2012 the International Center for Human Development (ICHD) in conjunction with the International Migration Organization in the framework of the EU supported project on Strengthening Evidence-based Management of Labor Migration in Armenia organized a webinar to discuss “Circular labor migration: Armenia-Poland”. The agenda of the webinar included issues of migration policy and experience exchange of the two countries.
Education Geared Towards Employment and Employee: National Training Fund Holds its First Conferenc
On September 6, 2012 the National Training Fund (NTF) held its very first conference on “Education geared towards employment and employee” at Armenia Marriott Hotel. In his opening speech, Minister of Education and Science Mr. Armen Ashotyan voiced a number of issues related to the area of lifelong education and noted that employers at first place should be willing and open to contribute to the educational processes working towards cooperation in crucial aspects of training of qualified employees. In Mr. Ashotyan’s opinion the Lifelong learning model requires long-term investments to shape well-demanded and quality workforce that will eventually secure the economic growth of enterprises. Ms. Hakobyan, the head of the NTF, talked over the directions, goals and opportunities of the Fund development. The conference hosted discussions over the supply and demand of the labor marker of Armenia that require additional support and cooperation and are directed at human capacity building and enhancement. Some mechanisms of fundraising for the NTR were discussed as well.
National Ideology- Origins and Modernity
On August 9, 2012 The social organization “Adult Education and Lifelong Learning”, which co-founder is “Tanger” recruitment company, within the framework program “Recognize the wisdom”, with the foundation of international studies “Armen” organized another cultural event on National Ideology-Origins and Modernity. The speaker – Archimandrite Komitas Hovnanyan.
In our opinion a very important subject was discussed, like the need of a national program, which will be aimed not to forget our historical values and outline our objectives and goals for all people no matter where they will be.

Training seminar held within the USAID program
On July 23 -24, 2012, within the USAID program, training was held for the private employment agencies on the topic of “Development of enterprises and competitiveness on the job market”. The seminar was run by Mr. Philip Hurst, an international expert and consultant on the issues of employment and enhancement of human resources. Mr. Hurst spoke on the fundamentals of developing and improving the performance of private employment agencies in Armenia, and the role they take in the business competitiveness. The purpose of the training was to streamline the performance of the agencies as per the international standards, provide incentives for improvement and upraise of private agencies, familiarize them with the articles of the 181th ILO Convention adopted in 1997, as well as to present the concept of CIETT, international confederation of private employment agencies, its roles and objectives in promoting interests of private agencies in light of international context.
The representatives of our company were among the participants of the training.
